What is love
Today, I discovered the presence of a third couple in class 2B. At first, I was surprised, but I regained my composure swiftly. As a mentor working at the school, I am often mistaken for a teacher, which sometimes makes me feel responsible for educating students about love and the dynamics of romantic relationships. However, it prompts me to ponder: What is love? If you ask this question to 100 people, you will receive 100 different answers. There's no standard answer to the question what is love.
Before falling in love, we have little idea of what love truly is. I am glad to see my students experiencing romantic love. Even if their relationships may not end well, I encourage them to embrace love and savor its essence. I believe it is important for them to learn how love can sometimes shatter their hearts and experience what it feels like to be heartbroken. Going through heartbreak at a young age can benefit their future growth. Hopefully, one day they will be able to explain love to me so that I can understand it better. Hahaha! :o)
Perhaps love is like the ocean; full of mysteries that make people curious. It isn't surprising to see two kindergarten children holding hands and referring them as boyfriend and girlfriend; we all have desires for romantic relationships, don't we? We humans are born to bond with others and form relationships.
Perhaps love is like a box of chocolate; full of surprises that make people ask for more. You will discover another side of you that makes you realize maybe you know nothing about yourself. Love makes people crazy; it brings out the brightest and ugliest sides of us. Sometimes, we sacrifice ourselves and put someone else first when we love someone. On the other hand, we can't ignore envy, jealousy, manipulation, and all other dirty things we do when we are in love with someone.
